General terms and conditions for training courses

1. Scope

These terms and conditions apply to participation in all seminars and events offered by Wickel & Co. GmbH, hereinafter referred to as the "Organizer".
The offer is aimed at private individuals as well as professionals (consumers within the meaning of § 13 BGB).

2. Seminar structure and scope of services

The seminar consists of four thematically related modules, each taking place over three consecutive days and spread throughout the calendar year.
The exact dates, content and venues can be found in the respective seminar description.
The booking includes participation in all four modules. Separate booking of individual modules is not possible unless explicitly stated otherwise.

3. Registration and conclusion of contract

Registration is done in writing via email and is binding.
The contract is concluded upon written confirmation by the organizer.

4. Participation fee and payment terms

The participation fee includes participation in all four modules as well as the services mentioned in the seminar description (catering and training materials) and includes the legally applicable value added tax.
Travel and accommodation costs are not included in the participation fee unless explicitly stated otherwise.
Payment is due upon receipt of the invoice and no later than the date stated in the invoice.

5. Right of withdrawal for consumers

Participants have the right to withdraw from the contract within 14 days without giving any reason.
The cancellation period begins on the day the contract is concluded.

The cancellation must be submitted in writing (e.g. by email) to the organizer.
To meet the deadline, it is sufficient to send the cancellation notice in a timely manner.

Note: After the cancellation period has expired, the following cancellation conditions apply.

6. Cancellation by participants

After the statutory cancellation period has expired, cancellation is possible under the following conditions:

Up to 4 weeks before the start of the first module: free of charge

50% of the participation fee is due 2 weeks before the start of the first module.

7 days before the start of the first module or in case of no-show: 80% of the participation fee is due.

Once the first module has started, cancellation is no longer possible.

The nomination of a suitable substitute participant is possible at any time free of charge.

Cancellations must be made in writing (email is sufficient). The time of receipt by the organizer is decisive.

7. Non-participation in individual modules

Failure to participate in individual modules or premature termination does not entitle participants to a reduction or refund of the participation fee.

Should you be unable to attend individual days or modules for various reasons (illness, other reasons, etc.), we will endeavor to make it possible to attend the module in the next training course. However, we cannot guarantee this.

8. Cancellation or changes by the organizer

The organizer reserves the right to cancel or postpone individual modules or the entire seminar for important reasons (e.g. illness of the speaker, force majeure or insufficient number of participants).

In the event of a complete cancellation of the seminar, participation fees already paid will be fully refunded.

Further claims, in particular for reimbursement of travel or accommodation costs, are excluded.

9. Liability

The organizer is only liable for damages resulting from intentional or grossly negligent conduct.
In cases of simple negligence, the organizer is only liable for breaches of essential contractual obligations and only up to the amount of foreseeable damage.

10. Copyrights

All seminar materials, presentations and content are protected by copyright.

Reproduction, distribution or publication is not permitted without the express written consent of the organizer.

11. Data Protection

Personal data is processed in accordance with applicable data protection regulations.

12. Final Provisions

The law of the Federal Republic of Germany applies.
Should any provision of these terms and conditions be or become invalid, the validity of the remaining provisions shall remain unaffected.
