Product information

The silk/wool/wool nursing pads are even more absorbent than silk/wool nursing pads.

These high-quality nursing pads made of silk and wool are comfortable to wear and their open knit structure ensures good air circulation. Wool can absorb up to a third of its own weight in moisture without feeling wet. Silk is pleasant to the touch and has a cooling effect.

The experience of countless midwives, lactation consultants, and breastfeeding mothers confirms the effectiveness of these soothing, wound-preventing, and healing natural fibers. Wearing silk-wool nursing pads protects sensitive nipples. Breathability, warmth, and pressure relief are perceived as beneficial.

Instructions for use and care:

  • Knitted nursing pads made of wool and silk can be reused after a light wash. Use wool detergent (please do not use soaps containing conditioning agents, such as olive oil soap) or mild, neutral hair shampoo and water. Silk nursing pads may change shape; it is recommended to soak them in a vinegar bath occasionally.
  • The easy care makes silk-wool nursing pads inexpensive. Two to three pairs are usually sufficient.
  • These nursing pads can also be used for wound treatment, e.g. as a dressing for a baby's bottom.
