Soothing aromatherapy for children during cold season.

Thyme and myrtle balm for children is a warming blend of essential oils, shea butter, lanolin, beeswax, and essential oils from various aromatic and medicinal plants. The soothing aroma is absorbed through the skin, nourishing and stimulating circulation. The fragrance promotes deep breathing. An ideal companion during cold and flu season.

Apply a thin layer to the chest, back, or soles of the feet. Used in the evening, this aromatic blend helps soothe a cough and promotes easier breathing at night. It is also soothing as an oil compress or poultice.

Pregnant women can apply the balm to their chest or back twice a day.

Personal recommendation from Ingeborg Stadelmann based on her many years of experience as a midwife:

For infants under six months, the Thyme Myrtle Balm for Children should be applied very sparingly or diluted to the back or soles of the feet (reflex zones). A rich vegetable oil, such as sunflower or olive oil in a 1:1 ratio, or calendula ointment is suitable for dilution.

For delicate baby skin, it's best to initially rub only the back or soles of the feet (reflex zones) once or twice a day with a hazelnut-sized amount. If you wish to rub it on the chest, dilute the balm with a rich vegetable oil or calendula ointment in a 1:1 ratio.
