In April, our training program for certified body wrap specialists begins, combining traditional healing knowledge with modern care practice. Developed by Ursula Uhlemayr, this program is aimed at professionals in nursing, therapy, and health consulting, as well as anyone interested in deepening their knowledge of therapeutic body wraps and compresses.
Across four consecutive in-person modules, participants acquire comprehensive naturopathic skills: from the basics of body wraps and compresses to hydrotherapy, phytotherapy, and Kneipp applications, as well as applications in many areas of life such as pregnancy, childhood, detoxification, and health promotion, including all aspects of body wraps and compresses in care settings. The training is further enriched with insights into anthroposophy, Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM), Ayurveda, yoga, and breathing exercises.
Practical self-experience and hands-on training are an essential part of the program.
The training is practice-oriented, holistic, and flexibly structured. It concludes with both a theoretical and practical examination and a certificate. Meals and training materials are included. Accompanying online modules provide additional opportunities for in-depth learning.
